Meeting Dawn, Elton, and their kids, Zach and Trevor, who flew up from Houston, we drove down to Las Vegas for our Christmas vacation. On the way down we stopped off in Salt Lake City for the night. While in Salt Lake we didn't have much time to sight see besides going to the Trolley Square Mall and to the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. There was quite a bit of snow there and snowed another 12 inches the night we stayed. We had a great time while in Vegas walking the Strip, touring the hotels, and riding out to Red Rock Canyon, which is a little West of Las Vegas. The route we took through Salt Lake was right at 800 miles.
