Clay, Michelle, and Clayton flew in on a Thursday for a long weekend. After picking them up from the airport we drove to Boise's downtown to eat at Hyde Park and then drove up into the Boise foothills. The following morning we took the kids to an onion field and then a potato field. The potatoes and onions were already harvested and people pull over to fill their bags/buckets up with the leftovers. Afterwards we drove about 60 miles up Hwy 55, stopping off to take pictures along the Payette river. Coming back to the house we drove through Emmett, taking pictures at the Freezout Hill Memorial's scenic view. Saturday morning we fed the ducks and geese at Ann Morrison Park, then fed ourselves at the playground part of the park. From Ann Morrison Park we parked downtown, walking to the capital building and over to the Basque block. At sunset we drove down to the Snake River. On the way back to the airport Sunday morning we stopped off at Eagle Island State Park for a couple quick photos.
