This year we bought two Christmas tree cutting permits, however on our first trip we were only able to find one tree we were happy with. Me, Debi, and Madison went on this trip along with our good friends Billee and Colton, and their dog Maggie.

On this trip for our second tree just me and Debi went while the kids were at school. We drove up north then east past Lowman, instead of directly east past Idaho City as we did on the first trip. The drive is a pretty drive along the Payette river.
