Christmas Tree Cutting Trip 2008
Navigation between galleries will be at the top right within each section below.
This year for our "Christmas Tree Cutting Trip" we drove up north on Hwy 55 to just south of Cascade, where we turned off on Clear Creek Rd and then off a ways up in there. We went with our neighbors Lou and Laura, and their kids Jessica, Jennifer, Kelly, and James (along with Grizzly). Once turning off on Clear Creek Rd we drove a few miles until coming to a dead end clearing flat that's used as a hunter's camp; and such. The Clear Creek splits and runs along each side of the campground.

These pictures are of our up Hwy 55 to Clear Creek Rd, just south of Cascade, ID. Once turing off we drove about 15 miles further. These are of the clearing and us hanging out around the fire, roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. We took a good little bit of time walking through the woods and such looking for the trees we wanted and enjoying the area.

The Clear Creek split right at the clearing we were at, these are various photos of that. We ended the day with a beautiful sunset on the way home toward Boise. Decorating of the trees (we got two) the next day, and then our Christmas card pictures are at the end.
